The place we originally planned to go to is temporarily closed for remodeling. I looked up another place and found this on the way because we are seafood lovers. I was very impressed when we first walked inside. This place is huge like a palace. How many freaking sections and private rooms they have. The food is excellent a more upscale Chinese food. Staff is helpful and service is great.

Good Chaozhou food is hard to find. 888 Seafood is one of the few great Chaozhou restaurants in Southern California. Very good food with reasonable prices. Could be noisy if there is other parties or special activities.

Probably the best dim sum I've had in awhile. You order with a menu, no push carts. One of my favorites was the pig blood; it is simply a bowl of pig blood cubes, none of the turnip to take up space. The texture was smooth and firm and they were satisfyingly salty lol. I also tried a new one: a ginger jelly cake. Firm, gummy, sweet and a little gingery.

Ambience: traditional Cantonese cuisine with large tables and spaces. We came here before an event. The restaurant has a section blocked for a baby shower event so the music and host can be pretty noisy, annoying or fun at times depends on how you feel about it. My wife and I enjoye it. Love all dishes we ordered today! None of them were too salty like many of the Cantonese dishes are. I'll ranked ordered them here: 1, deep fried shrimp spring roll: crispy outside and freshly shrimp inside, yummy! 2, Egg tofu: soft inside and crispy outside. Gotta serve it hot! 3, pork dumpling: my usual favorite. 4, Turnip beef tripes 5, sparerib with black bean sauce 6, marinated tofu 7, steamed chicken feet 8, beef tripe with ginger & onions: 9, shrimp dumplings Server: This is a fairly busy restaurant. Some of them were quite, "busy" and inattentive as usual. Some were good and responsive.
